It is blue and carries goodies

She is the size of a lunch box. I could not resist her. Ummm I think she will look just perfect on the table at the market! Been thinking as most of my stuff is fun and fabricy (like that word?) - I am going for a clean coutry look. The balls/wands even flowers in wooden weaved baskets as for the other tiny things I am still stuck...

What do you think take two

Another idea for the market...

Laminated fabric notebook. These have taken a lot of fiddling and playing around to get right. I am lucky that my FIL has lent me his laminator and my friend her zutter. I will have to fork out $95 for a zutter.

To cover materials and my time I will have to charge at least $15.50 before I recop the cost of the zutter - which I will only ever use to make these - how many will I sell I do not know.

Do you think this is worth it? Your constructive feedback most appreciated.

Thanks ladies!

I was amazed at the great and helpful feedback - Thank you all - so as a bigger thank you I thought I would do a retrospective give away for all the ladies that commented...

The winner is.... Renee who said...
"I like them Sarah. They would look gorgeous on a short, tailored jacket :) How much are you selling them for?" Email me Renee for your snail mail!

The questions answered... Yes I am offering them as embellishments for bags and hats/beanies as well. I will be selling them at the local hand made market in the next two months - but happy to do by order! I am thinking of selling for about $10. I am going to try using fabric fussible in between to help them last longer down the track. Hope it still lets me curl them at the edges (love that).

Sweet day

There is nothing like a good slice hey? Thank you for your kind words re the passing of our dog. We are all good. We have spoken to the children the last 18 months about her growing old and one day will join our cat Ginger. We left her in good spirits so it was a shock to get the call. It is all part of the circle of life - as cliche as it sounds the children really go with it.

On to the lucky draw! I noticed when unpacking the goodies there was a certain red theme happening! I love the goodies and hope the lucky person does as well. A nice mixture of things to make you smile and a little something I will make today (which will delay the mailing of the goodies because I CANNOT find an important part for it!!!!! I might have to ask Jo if she has a spare one - I can rely on her at least!). On to the winner... or should I delay the process any more (OKAY I can hear you groan) the winner is.... using the random generator thingo... can you believe - number four - (seriously this was not dodged I totally swear - cross my heart - Jo from Lilly Pilly!!!!!! So do not send me your snail mail Miss Jo - I will hand deliver when I have found another source for my missing part (lol).

xxoo

We are back

A great time away. Shame Sandi and I did not end up meeting (love your carrots Sandi!). Sad returning home to an empty kennel - our Labrador of over 13 years passed away - so feeling a bit shattered (many many thanks to our neighbour for his caring and thoughtful assistance). My body is here but mind still in flying back. Will draw raffle (really cool stuff waiting for the lucky person) when I am all back together again.

Good to be home.
